Tired of all this iOS and Android nonsense? Don't know what to choose? Well, Phoenix, Nokia has an answer for you, sort of.
Nokia has a concept phone, the E-Cu that includes batteries, but no charger. Before you start dropping wtf here and there, take a second to soak in the fact that the phone is powered by you, well at least your body heat or some heat for that matter.
Designer Patrick Hyland created the concept phone that encases thermogenerator with copper that converts heat into electric potential energy. Initially, it requires seven hours to reach a full charge. From there, the phone continuously charges. The back of the phone looks like The Thing from The Fantastic Four, but this actually serves a purpose - by having the etchings in place, the surface area is increased and in turn converts more energy. The phone has to be kept in an area with a temperature ranging 86 to 104 degrees, which almost seems like a perfect phone for people here in the valley. The only downside is that the Nokia E-Cu is only a concept, but Mr.Hyland said he's open for collaboration.
