About Us

About The Phoenix Egotist
The Phoenix Egotist is an anonymously-run website featuring the best creative, the best
talent and the best resources Phoenix has to offer – keeping it all in the greater context
of what’s happening internationally. Our intent is to foster growth in this city, both
professionally and conceptually.

Manifesto
Phoenix is a diverse and thriving community but it is still in its cultural adolescence.
Plagued by both geographic as well as creative sprawl, our community lacks a unified
voice. As creative participants in this city, the opportunity for change lays at our feet.
This will happen by challenging one another, holding each other accountable for the
quality of our work, and by hiring and promoting local talent. This is our attempt to foster
big ideas and radical thinking on a local level. To remind us all why we love this job. To
promote the best work and ideas in Phoenix.

A Message To Businesses
As clients and decision makers within agencies and firms, you have the choice to hire
locally and demand exceptional work. By doing so, you’ll not only help elevate the city
as a whole, you’ll help Phoenix become a draw for new talent ultimately continuing the
cycle.

Just as we are challenging Phoenix’s creative community to transcend the status quo, we are also extending a challenge to business owners to respond in kind. Before you take your next big campaign out of town, look to this city first – if only to listen to a pitch.
The expectation for great work has been set. Let them surprise you. With your help and
trust, we will build Phoenix into a creative and cultural Mecca.

As business owners, you should hire the best talent – Phoenix’s best talent. It is the
challenge of agencies to uncover the photographers, illustrators, directors, writers,
designers and visionaries of Phoenix that will transform your work with each and every
attempt. With your trust, the bar will be raised for the entire creative community, leaving
your business with a much deeper talent pool from which to choose.
