PR Account Manager

Off Madison Ave seeks a PR Account Manager with a passion for strategic thinking, unconventional media tactics, and transforming clients’ businesses through amazing results. Our ideal candidate will be a creative, yet analytical, self-starter with a relentlessly positive attitude.
Candidates for this position must think strategically and find ways to effectively solve clients’ business and marketing problems through public relations. The PR Account Manager is responsible for overseeing multi-faceted and multi-disciplinary communications campaigns for Off Madison Ave’s clients and must possess stellar verbal and written skills.
Core Responsibilities:
* Work directly and closely with multiple clients to fully understand their business objectives.
* Evaluate and oversee multi-faceted, multi-disciplinary communication campaigns with limited management and oversight.
* Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and work to optimize success.
* Be responsible for leading meetings with clients and internal team members. Out of town travel occasionally required.
* Play well with others to ensure that we hit deadlines and continue turning out outstanding work that gets results. You will be responsible for managing client expectations and satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelors with interest or emphasis in public relations or related fields.
* 7+ years of experience as a public relations practitioner with agency experience preferred.
* Experience with a variety of communication deliverables including pitching, writing, crisis communications, and strategic plan development.
* Exceptional written and verbal skills – must know AP Style.
* High level of comfort with data and statistics.
* Well-versed in Excel.
* Ability – and desire – to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple overlapping deadlines.
