WHAT DO WE WANT? "Bike lanes on Roosevelt Street between 5th Avenue and 7th Street"
Roosevelt Street currently experiences a high volume of bicycle use. Bicycle lanes significantly increase safety for bicyclists, vehicles and pedestrians. Phoenix City Council adopted the Downtown Plan in 2008 which recommends installation of bike lanes along Roosevelt Street between 5th Avenue and 7th Street.

I think it would be very useful if there would be bike lanes installated along Roosevelt street. There are a lot of bicyclists and we sure need those. I think we all should make auto donations and get bikes instead. It is healthier and it does not pollute. Or at least switch to bikes for one week. I think there would be a difference, but who would try?
It`s great that the people start using bikes, especially for those who have driving stereotypes regarding women driving cars.
In one of the car movies of 2012 i saw different ways of taking care of your car or how to make your car to be a part of the city but i never saw a thing regarding your bike. I think that bikers are requesting very little from the municipality and one of the simplest things is a bike lane.
I didn`t know how bicyclists felt but now I do. I had an accident and I needed a car repair Philadelphia style to use it again. While the car was in service I had to ride my bike and I`ve seen how few bike lanes are in the city. I know when I`ll get my car back it will be great for me but still bicyclists will have the same problem.
I'm glad to see that people are using bicycles and I read in the paper this morning that there are dozens of bicycle related technology jobs in my area. Bikes are great for the environment and for your health, and way cheaper than cars. I heard that those who cycle regularly live better, healthier lives than those who don't.
It`s true that there should be installed more bike lanes! Same thing is with the parking lots, I read it on Going in 2012. Everyday I see a new car on the street, so we are more drivers and we need more parking places. My 23 year old boy just bought an Volkswagen Polo and he can`t find a free parking spot just because there are too many cars. How can we deal with this?
